I create content and resources about the creative writing and self-publishing process.
I also share personal growth and productivity techniques that allow you to center your creativity while maintaining a healthy and meaningful lifestyle. You could be an excellent writer with a riveting story, but if your body, mind, and soul suffer, your dreams will suffer too.
I intend to start conversations that empower and inspire us all to thoughtfully build habits that bring us a tiny step closer to our authentic selves each day.
A Little About Me
I see stories everywhere (in books, movies, music, conversations, and daydreams). Historical fiction and fantasy adventures with a little dash of heartrending romance are my go-to genres.
I’m a teacher so it sometimes feels like I’m living two lives-educator by day, and writer by night. After a few years in education, I realized that I desperately needed to dive into the world of mindfulness and self-compassion. Storytelling had slipped from the center of my life and with it, my anxiety was rising.
Now, with more knowledge of mental health and mindfulness, I’ve rerouted back to my passions and realized that this is where I want to be. Yet, life is busy so I love reading nonfiction books and learning new productivity techniques that fit easily into my lifestyle.
Outside of work, I spend my time checking out parks and beaches with my giant fluffball of a Great Pyreenes mix, Rupert. If I can’t make it out from the comfort of my blankets, I’m baking apple crisp or drinking tea with a lit candle by my side.
